While almost everyone was stuck in traffic last Edsa Revolution Holiday, I took a leave and joined the SoMoms with our SoKids to #PlayWithOreo at the Fun Farm. Of course fun and Oreo always go together!
The place is really for kids! And my boys tried all the activities available in the Fun Farm. First on my boys’ list was the zipline. Don’t worry parents, it’s safe. There were kuyas there who made sure the straps are on tight. It’s really a short distance and fairly near the ground. My little Kuya went on it four times! The bunso, seeing Kuya flying through the air, had to try it too. I’m amazed he was so brave!
And what’s a farm without animals?! There were big pens with guinea baboys, as my kids call it, and bunnies. They played with them and fed them too.
They even got bullied by the goat! He kept on ramming his head on them but instead of getting scared, the boys loved it.
We also did some fishing! And if you think nobody catches anything in their pond, we’ll, my son caught one the first five minutes of trying. But don’t worry, they throw the fish back into the pond.
A trip to the farm won’t be complete without taking a ride on a carabao. Meet Chocnut… the English speaking carabao… Lol! The manong driver would give instructions in English and he’d follow!
Personally, I enjoyed riding the horse! My little boy enjoyed it as well. As you can see, my little boy thought he was a prince riding to his princess…
The day was even made special with Oreo games. We really did #PlayWithOreo, we did stack-the-Oreo using chopsticks. Me and Kuya joined the game. Our team lost and he had a meltdown! Hay…
The next game was “Guess the Oreo Flavor”…
I wonder if they were trying to really guess the flavor or just enjoying the Oreos?! Like the guy below hugging his Oreo loot!
My other boy just loves eating the middle part… Double Stuf is definitely the one for him coz it has twice the amount of filling! We also enjoyed the newest flavor, Strawberry! Oreo really is our staple baon everywhere.
As you can see, he only eats the filling and I end up eating the cookies. My tummy is not complaining, my hips on the other hand is protesting! Guess who won?!
This #PlayWithOreo was a great outing for me and the boys! The kids got lots of fresh air and I got to see my fellow SoMoms (and a few SoDaddies). I’m hoping for more moments like this, especially now that summer break is just a couple of weeks away. More road trips and more #PlayWithOreo moments!
Thank you again Oreo! Till next time!
