I finally found time to blog. Man! The past few weeks have been very hectic at work that I just end up going to bed the same time the kids go to sleep. Even the weekends have been busy! Trying to sneak in some blogging time has been very difficult. So, here I am, hiding in a little corner in a coffee shop here in the office trying to lessen my backlog.
Anyway, for now let me just share to you some products I love using on my kids. Lately, parents are getting more aware of organic and all-natural products for their home and their children. And environment-friendly products are now on top of the grocery list of many households. It’s about time! Let’s join the bandwagon then…
Contains NO “hidden toxins” like parabens, phtalates, sodium lauryl sulfate, flouride, talcum crystals and detergents. Those are some big words! But simply put, these are just toxic chemicals that can harm our babies’ skin and health.
I personally love the Rice Baby Powder! Isn’t it sooooo pinoy to keep the kids pawis free with bimpo on their backs and powder?! Since its made of 100% rice grains milled into super fine powder and not talc, it keeps the babies fresh all day. We also use the Baby Bottle and Nipple Cleaner, even for my baby’s plates and utensils. One big bottle of cleaner goes a long way!
My bunso also uses Tiny Fangs Kiddie Tooth Gel too. He still doesn’t know how to spit or gargle and eats the tooth paste when he brushes his teeth. No worries, this one is flouride-free.
If Tiny Buds’ products are good for babies, it’s also good for mommies! I use the Tiny Buds Sticky Hand Wipes. I always have wipes in my bag, I guess it’s a mommy thing!
I love how light and soft the fabric feels on the skin. It’s made of organic bamboo fiber that’s why it’s soooo breathable, which is great for my very active boys and fit for our weather.
Aside from shirts, Purebasics also has onesies and side-ties (or what I call ninja tops!). Designs are very simple and muted. Oh, and I just discovered that they also have a crib sheet set too!
You can check Purebasics in Rustan’s and Babyland, or their online store www.purebasics.ph.
Picallily is a clothing brand for kids that prides itself in being organic, from its fabric up to the dye used for the colorful prints. The clothes are also manufactured to the highest ethical standards, which means no unfair labor practices in their factories.
What I like about Piccalilly is all the clothes are age appropriate. One of my pet peeves as a mom is when I see kids wearing “adult-like” clothes… like little girls in skimpy clothes! Kids grow up so fast already. I say, let them be kids!
Piccalilly is available in Babyland Baby Stores, Modern Mama Baby Shop and Numa. You can also check them on FB www.facebook.com/piccalillyph.
