My mother's side hail from Pampanga and she has been such a fierce promoter of her hometown. Once in awhile, she helps the local government in making non-Kapangpangans more aware what they can enjoy in Pampanga. And when people hear Pampanga, they always think of food. It is after all where sisig was born. So we put food and tourism together and came up with a culinary and heritage tour. We went around several famous restaurants, meeting the chefs, and in between we visited historical houses … [Read more...]
Mommy Travels: Batanes, Heaven on Earth
Years ago, my former officemate told us that his son was going to get married in Basco, Batanes. Basco, Batanes?! What’s there? So, I do my research and I’m mesmerized. Rolling hills, mountains upon mountains overlooking the ocean, and scenic spots perfect for pictures. I had the opportunity to join a familiarization tour organized by PHILTOA a couple of weeks ago. My partner and I have been waiting for this trip for more than a year! Even for someone who has a travel agency, it's still … [Read more...]

My New Normal

But now, the company my friends and I put up is up and running and I'm back in the grind. There's many differences though, while I have to wake up at 5am to go to Makati, I now wake up at 5am to make sure my little kuya is ready for school. Then at 630am I start waking up the bunso for his school too. I … [Read more...]
Jolly Cow Fun Day
A day after I had my last day at work I got a wonderful treat from Jolly Cow Fresh Milk. I got to spend a day with one of my boys! The day started with a bus ride from Jolly Cow headquarters. While waiting to leave, we met the other moms and kids who were so excited to go to our first stop, Art in Island in Cubao. This is not your usual museum. It has more than a hundred 3D paintings you can pose in front of and look like you're in a different dimension altogether. My bunso is a … [Read more...]
